More Videos From Monte Sano
Here are a few more videos from my group ride last night. The camera bounced around a bit more and I had to walk in spots, but there is a reason for that. Last week I was on my full suspension Epic, this week I was on my singlespeed. It is very hard(and fun) to singlespeed on Monte Sano. One bad line choice or get knocked off your line and you're walking; simply because its really hard to keep up your momentum through all the rocks and roots. Sometimes there is no smooth line choice. Also, pay no attention to my incoherent rambling.
One section of the South Plateau Loop. Smooth and fast.
You saw some of this trail last week, but we turned off to Cold Springs instead of continuing on. This is Fire Tower, to North Plateau and finishing on the closed road.
We traditionally ride this trail the opposite way, but we decided to throw caution to the wind. It's actually fun both ways. This is one small portion of Sinks Trail that leads to Logan Point. This trail is fast and rocky is spots.
Lastly, there is Keith's trail, which is essentially the same trail as Logan Point. They are connected and once you ride one, you pretty much have to ride the other. Same thing here, fast in spots, rocky, and some of the climbs are technical, steep and loose. As you will see when I have to get off the bike in one section.
