    I ride with a bern watts helmet. It fits my head very well, although it doesn't have great venting. It also doubles as my skate and snowboard helmet as well, very versatile, especially with my budget right now.

    That being said, helmets are a very personal thing (as I think was mentioned). Best to try a few on and get the one that feels best.

    In the past couple of years I have replaced two helmets after crashing. My road helmet on the opposite side to the impact blew out it was a forceful crash and could have resulted in severe head trauma all I got were cuts and a broken collar bone. My brand new week old Mountain bike helmet cracked on the side where I impacted after a poor landing cuts bruises, very limited neck movement for six months but no head injury. I'm not and expert but as far as I know helmets are designed for one serious hit. I take risks as we all do riding our bikes but I am not keen to be a victim of my own stupidity. Replace the helmet.
