    Default Work stand

Looking to get a work stand to make maintenance easier. I was leaning toward a Park Tools stand, but not sure. I was looking to spend between $100-150. Any suggestions? Pros/cons?

The PCS-10 is on sale on Amazon for $134 and some change. I've seen it as low as $130 on Amazon. As far as I can tell that is about as low as you are going to get it. Have considered picking it up myself but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I bought the PCS-10 through Amazon and have used it a hand full of times. I love the clamp system versus the screw system that was on my old work stand. It is built heavy duty so I expect it will last a very long time. I was also happy with Amazon, since the stand showed up quickly and without any issues. Good luck and enjoy it.

I also have the PCS-10, but have used others. Years back i used Performance "spin-doctor" it worked well once the bike was in place, but the jaws closing system was slow (threaded style). The Park stands have an adjustable spring clamp that is fast and smooth. I can throw different bikes in held by the seat post (different sizes) with out adjustments.

My stand is also the MTB parking place, when I am not riding it is in the stand and never gets knocked over.

I have been using the spin doctor pro G-3 which is a pretty good stand and in the price range. The only thing I am not crazy about is instead of lever you have to turn a knob.

Avoid the Spin Doctor. Difficult to adjust for different frames and breaks often. I own one which has been a pain since I bought it, it has broken many times and is held together with Duct tape and a prayer.

I would stick with Park Tool or Feedback Sports. Both stands are quality pieces.
